Overview

The Export Sales Executive role at Packwell – A Division of Western International Group is a high-impact position focused on driving our international business growth in the packaging and distribution sector. This role requires a proactive sales professional who can identify and develop new global markets, manage end-to-end export operations, and build long-term relationships with overseas clients.

He/She will act as a bridge between the company and international buyers, ensuring smooth coordination across production, logistics, and compliance teams. With a strong understanding of export procedures, documentation standards, and global trade dynamics, he/she will contribute significantly to Packwell’s vision of expanding its global presence.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage export sales channels and distributors in assigned international territories.
     
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and client segments in the global packaging industry.
     
  • Handle RFQs, pricing proposals, contract negotiations, and order finalization in coordination with the sales manager.
     
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as production, logistics, and finance to ensure timely fulfillment and shipment of export orders.
     
  • Ensure all export transactions comply with international trade laws, INCOTERMS, documentation standards, and customs regulations.
     
  • Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and customer behavior in international markets.
     
  • Attend and represent the company in global trade exhibitions, B2B meets, and online platforms to generate leads.
     
  • Maintain and update CRM systems, prepare periodic sales reports, and track sales performance against targets.
     
  • Resolve client issues, manage complaints, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction post-delivery.
     
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs agents, and documentation teams for smooth order execution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
     
  • 2–5 years of proven experience in export sales, preferably in packaging, industrial goods, or distribution industries.
     
  • Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS, export documentation, international shipping, and compliance.
     
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
     
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software, and ERP systems.
     
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
