Overview

Ensure the implementation, monitoring, and continual improvement of Quality, Hygiene, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) standards across the region, in line with legal, certification, and company requirements.

Responsibilities

Guiding and leading the QHSE Team to ensure Quality Control Standards and the Safety System for the region. • Overall responsibility for the Hygiene & Food Safety Standards in the shops/warehouse and ensuring the same through daily/weekly visits. • Coordinating with the legal authorities/certification agencies to keep the system and standards updated. • Developing Safety Training plans and ensuring the training requirements are met for the region. • Developing, planning and coordinating the Food Testing requirements of the shops as per the legal and Food Safety Management System standards. Reviewing the Food Test results, planning of any re-tests & corrective actions. • Evaluating, communicating, coordinating and following up of the Retail Store Hygiene Audit reports. • Over looking into the pest control standards and coordinating with shop management for any changes required by/from the pest control contractor or even changing the pest control contractor after the approval from the higher management. Communicating & coordinating the pest control QIR’s (Quarterly Inspection Reports) with the shop/higher management. • Developing, planning & executing the Internal Audits and communicating the reports to the Higher management. • Coordinating & conducting the Regional QHSE Review Meetings, recording the minutes for future reference and communicating it to the higher management. • Planning and coordinating the calibration activities as per the requirements of the Food Safety & Regulatory Standards. • Handling, recording & resolving of the Food Safety related customer complaints and communicating to the Higher Management.
